While taking my degree at The Culinary Institute of America I took one of the most challenging classes, the wine class.

It was in this class that I realized how challenging the subject was but also discovered how much it fascinated me.

When that class was over, I remember feeling a need to know more…

 

After graduating I decided to specialize in the area of Wine & Distilled Beverages in Napa Valley, California, where I learned the history, viticulture and everything behind a “simple” glass of wine.

I also became Wine & Spirit Education Trust level 1 & 2 certified.

 

The world of wine is something you never finish learning and it is amazing to see how in different parts of the world the same grape can have completely different notes on the palate and in the nose.
